Idle/ Watery Wednesday

A beautiful Friday morning

It seemed lonely for this sailboat but in a few more hours, weekend would arrive.  Activity! Motor boats and other water craft, swimmers. picnickers...

  5. It looks like what happens here when the tide goes out. Everything is left high and dry for a few hours. LOL MB

  8. I would much prefer to have this beauty than any motorboat. This is a wonderful picture for Watery Wednesday.

  9. Hope the lonely boat found some company. So many sit unused, years even at a time. Brings to mind the two happiest moments of a man's life: the day he buys his boat, and the day he sells it. Not necessarily in that order.

  26. Auckland has more boats per head than any where else.

My non boat owner told me, " Look at all those boats in the marina. people spent all their money on buying their boats, then they have no money to sail the boats because they have to work many jobs to pay the bank. or to pay for the gas."

Your photo makes me think of that.
