Another excellent sunrise over Lake Simcoe. And now you've got me wondering if there are still a lot of beavers in Beaverton?
Re Missionary Baptists...I'd guess your "Missionary" church is something quite different...I know there's a Christian Missionary and Alliance Church and probably others that use that name...
But here, the Missionary Baptist churches are by and large made up of African-Americans. They are very conservative and fundamentalistic.
I love the path of the sunset on the water, and the tree in the foreground with the fence definitely adds to the composition. A lovely picture. Kay Alberta, Canada
Great photo! The sun looks like a ball of fire (well of course it is a ball of fire). The fence really add a lot to the photo, love the texture it gives it.
Are you skipping marbles across the lake. Excellent shot. It just goes to show how nature can be so beautiful.
Regarding the trees in my day4plus blog. All this wetland is reclaims land. The slough is still there and the Skagit River is along side but it had been filled and used for numerous thing and now the county wanted to put it back into wetland to benefit the fish and bird and other critters. Still fishing and hunting (at certain times) in that area lots of hiking trails and a dirt boat launch. The count worked with Fish and Game Dept, local fishermen and evirmental dept and actually came up with a good plan. So I think the trees are dead, which is not a bad thing in a wetland situation. Whew!!. MB
