Ice Crystals/ Macro Monday

Frost crystals on the edge of dried fern

Last Wednesday morning we awoke to find a heavy frost on everything outdoors. Of course my camera begged to see what it could see, and THIS is what it saw.

  17. We get no frost here so I really enjoy seeing pictures of frost. I'm amazed by the delicate crystal formation and you captured it nicely.

    Yes, we woke to a frost this morning, too - and a blackbird on the lawn eating the fallen pears. Pretty, but very chilly.
