Private Pond #2/ Weekend Reflections

Pond on back road, Uxbridge

The snow on the trees, grass and cattails around this pond means there will soon be ice.

  6. It would be fun to have a pond to ice skate on. It doesn't ever get cold enough here. My pond gets slightly frozen at times and one day the small dog walked on it and it creaked and wobbled but never frozen solid. MB

  27. I'm not sure I'm ready for the prospect of an ice-covered pond, but this pond is beautiful as it is. You've captured a wonderful reflection on that mirror-like surface.

  37. I like this picture, and 'sort of' looking forward to our first snowfall.

Sarah said they had some sleet and snow when I was home before...I didn't see any here, but I was so sick I didn't know much of what was going on for two or three days.

Even though I love snow, I dread the cold and have not figured a way to have one without the other.
