November can be beautiful too!
When I think of November I usually think of dreary skies and landscapes with brown and more brown. BUT this year has proved me wrong. Yes, there IS a lot of brown. But wait! Not all browns are created equal! The browns have ranged from off-white to rich chocolate and even some gold. Plus, evergreens, ferns and some grasses are still offering various shades of green.
Moreover, the skies have not been nearly as dull as I had imagined...not ALL of them anyway.
It's NOT Thanksgiving here in Canada (We celebrated in October), but I want to wish bloggers across the U.S. a very happy day with friends and relatives.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - or camera lens, as the case may be. You've proven November in Ontario to be quite pretty...love the collage!

ReplyDeleteBrown is one of my favorite colors--maybe because I am a November child. Brown and gold--brown and orange--brown and turquoise--I'll stop now. OK?

And thanks for the Thanksgiving wish--I am just thankfor for all the blogging friends across the whole world. MB

We don't celebrate it here.
Well, it has been bleak here today...rainy and dreary. But had sleet this morn..so could have been worse.
ReplyDeleteEven then, this type of weather is beautiful in its own way...love the shots in your collage.
I hope someday soon to have time for an actual photo hunting drive. It has been since the first of October since I have been out and did very much rambling around...and I miss it.
Brown is beautiful if you just let your eyes wonder a bit. In case you get tired of brown just wait a few weeks and it will be all white! LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great day EG.

ReplyDeleteYou did find the good in an otherwise dreary world in Autumn just before the scenes winter brings!
ReplyDeleteI love the variations of winter and you captured that so well with these shots.
ReplyDeleteI added you to the linky...You make a very good point...I need to learn to appreciate the more muted colors myself....a bit of snow here...cold... brrrr.....Michelle
