Christmas LIGHTS, Port Perry, Ontario

Now when Ontario has so little warmth and daylight, Christmas lights are a  cheery way to end each day. Many people here will continue to turn on their lights throughout most of January.

  8. I'm impressed. Those were very difficult shots to get as the light is minimal. Great job.

Now, re your comment on Stone Creek: What? You didn't get much sleep last night? That photo is perfectly clear and sharp as a tack. Maybe it's your eyes? ;-))

  15. Both are lovely Christmas-y scenes, EG. I am going to pretend that the weather is comfortable up there and that we are strolling around.

I saw your comment on Birdman's blog today, recalling your flights in and out of Beverly airport. I grew up in Danvers and my mother lived for a while within a stone's throw of Beverly airport. Small world, isn't it?

  22. You're so right. The early darkness can seem gloomy, especially with the cold. But the same places liven up a lot when lights are added!
