What clear reflections. I'll admit to my ignorance tho, what are those things the birds are on? I'm guessing something you tie boats to.

I really like this photo, EG. Very interesting and well done. What do these birds do when it gets really cold? Do they stick around or head south?
ReplyDeleteJacob,
ReplyDeleteSome migrate south and some to McDonald's for fries. LOL If they can find food here, they'll stay.
Kind of a strange one, a bit sad and mournful.
ReplyDeletePoor gulls, with the fishermen gone they'll have to work for their supper.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, the gulls do not seem to mind cold weather and winter.

ReplyDeleteWatery Wednesday
I don't recall ever noticing those things you tie the boat to.
ReplyDeleteThe gulls do remain, don't they? I wonder if they are intelligent as crows are.
I like the one coming in for a landing. Nice capture.
ReplyDeletelooks like they are playing musical chairs. Do they like the icy winter?
ReplyDeleteNice framing of the shot, love the elements in there.
ReplyDeletethe gulls feel they are always welcome wherever they land!
ReplyDeleteGulls are fairly hearty birds so I can well imagine them flying around all year. Great combination of objects in photo.

Beautiful composition and I love the reflection!
