ORANGE in the garden- blast from the past
OKAY, it's true not all OF these were photographed in my garden as ONE square in this mosaic is a wildflower. Can you guess which ONE?
Moving clockwise starting with the largest square: Great spangled fritillary on a purple coneflower, butterflyweed, orange hawkweed, mountain ash berries, trumpet vine and daylily
I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE
Im guessing something called a weed might be the wild one? So nice to see these when we are drowning in snow in my neck of the woods.

Beautiful flowers. A nice sight for these dreary winter days.
ReplyDeleteLove the butterfly and the cone flower. Perfectly composed!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess the hawkweed was not from your garden. They are all beautiful and very refreshing compared to the blanket of white outside my window.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous (O)ranges.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing all these bright colors again in the spring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
What a breath of fresh air on this cold, nasty afternoon!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous...
Oh look! what I found here! Wonderful colors of our earth! So good to see, all the ground is covered by snow right now, so these photos made me happy! So colorful! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the oranges of these pretty plants.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, nice to see in January! I'm guessing the trumpet vine is the wild one:@)
ReplyDeleteNice boost of colors for this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBeauty colours!!!! We're pretty snowy around here!
ReplyDeletecheers from cottage county.
It's so nice to see a blast of colour!
ReplyDeleteI love the autumn colors...it is my favorite time of year.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful orange mosaic. A weed in one place can be a domestic plant in another, just like some of our obnoxious weeds getting a high price in some US cities. I think maybe the berries are wild, haha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great preview of whats to come. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors!!! What a sight for these winter gray eyes. Beautiful collage too. MB
ReplyDeleteThese colors are just right on a day where the sun is shining, as it do today :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - I think it's the orange hawkweed!!
Those are lovely orange color, and just beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I dunno from wildflowers but I do know some wild photographers!
ReplyDeleteHawkweed?
ReplyDeleteYour garden must be amazing with this progression of oranges adding warmth and glow throughout the growing season.
This was an outstanding link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "O".
I enjoyed this splash of happy color today.
Thank you for linking.
A+
You have me stumped! I really should know this, and will probably feel silly when you reveal the "weed."
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't pick out the wildflower, though.
ReplyDelete=)
That's a lot of orange!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! Seeing these photos make me long for spring soon. It's been too cold this winter!
ReplyDeleteWow is right! These photos are amazing. Thanks for bringing a bit of beauty to my morning!
ReplyDeleteYes, I just died a little bit looking back at those warm days.
ReplyDeleteMountain ash berries. Doubt these are in your garden. Up in a tree on your property?
Makes me think that spring is just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteThanks for livening up my computer.
I was going to go for trumpet vine, but I seem to be outnumbered!
