Local Creek/ Watery Wednesday

Frozen creek in East Gwillimbury

Ice and new fallen snow create  an inviting scene. One of the joys of living in a village far from the rest of civilization is that whenever you need to go shopping, my camera clamors to be taken along.  OK. OK. Maybe it's not my camera making all that noise but that voice inside my head that wants to take my camera.

    I take my camera along most of the time, but whenever i do, I don't see anything I want to photograph. But if I leave it at home, I immediately see 2 or 3 scenes that really scream out for me to take a picture!

    After spending most of my winter shoveling snow, I am not a fan of it. But it does make for beautiful photographs.

    So pretty. Too cold here too in the Bay ARea that our peaks received more than a dusting of snow.

    I take my point and shoot everywhere I go too.

    Of course it is your camera making all the 'I wanna come too' noises. It would be pretty sad sitting all alone at home.

    That's a beautiful scene.One needs to listen to that voice and always take the camera.I know I'm usually sorry when I don't.

    well I'm glad your camera clamors to be taken along. the light is so fantastic, as only late Winter light can be. more fresh snow on the ground in my world today too. a frozen magical spot that will soon be a distant memory because Spring is just around that corner :)

    I am soooooo glad you take your camera everywhere. . . otherwise, there would not be much snow for me this winter. . . BUT we might get a bit of snow tomorrow or sometime later this week . . . hope hope

    You should always take your camera; you take beautiful photographs; this is a beautiful wintry photo which makes me glad I live in Florida. No offense. ;-)

    Such a lovely photo! As an Ontario girl who long ago moved to soggy Vancouver, I will always miss the sweet, singular beauty of light bouncing off snow. This photo made my day...:)

    I took my camera out to take a picture of a tree covered in ice and then a layer of snow. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was ice under the 6 inches of snow and I fell backwards on my shoulders and head. My camera crashed into the ground. Although stiff and sore, I survived, my camera didn't. I had to go out and get myself one of those newfangled ones, with the lenses and all. Oh darn! Now if I can just figure out how to use it.

    Thank goodness I am not alone with this ^_^ Sometimes I have doubt if I have to take a photo or not, I am afraid security men might approach me and throw me outside lol! Great capture thanks for sharing!
