winter/summer it's always beautiful. I hope you'll join in the bi-monthly discussions of War and Peace. There is supposed to be on this month sometime. You should post some pictures that tell a little bit about the work you do in your community. It would be very interesting.
I never saw something like that... Icing around the port and just a little further the water so blue... Thanks for sharing this, it's a joy to my eyes! God bless you! Cezar
What a lively photo for a winter harbour! It is very beautiful. Is the sea always ice-free? Once it was freezing so hard that the rivers were all frozen over and the ferry couldn't cross the river where I live. This will only happen once in a life time.
This looks almost like one of those puzzles...can't think who does them. They are sort of folk artsy...do you know the ones I mean? It is a great capture.
Lovely shot! I haven't been brave enough to approach the lakeshore this winter - you certainly have! I meant to comment yesterday on how beautiful your swan shots were - thanks for all the info about the swans - I had no idea there were 2 such distinct types.
The bright colors in the snow make the snow "friendlier" and not so cold looking:) Your comment about the harbor iced in, but the lake nor, is interesting info!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
What a lovely shot! I'll bet the wind wakes you up when it first hits you.

ReplyDeleteNice with the ice free water!
ReplyDeletewow! That's a very beautiful scene...snow with brilliant blue...so nice!
ReplyDeleteYou still have liquid water! But then, this is one of the Great Lakes, so it takes a lot to freeze them solid!
ReplyDeleteI suppose that because I'm so used to seeing the beaches of California, it is so odd to be to see a shore lined with ice and snow. Beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful snowscape ending in rippling water!

ReplyDeleteWatery Wednesday
Your photo has captured the two things I love most -- snow and water.
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting view of a life I know little about. Now I see why people take their boats out of the water for the winter.
