you know, after all the editing I'm becoming accustomed to seeing and doing myself, it's refreshing to see a SOOC image. there's a purity to it, just like this snow. this is really a lovely image and still so much snow. we've lost a lot of ours but the forecast is for a pretty nasty winter storm to hit early tomorrow morning and last the better part of the day. snow, ice, rain, sleet. the whole shebang. but Spring really is on it's way. it's simply going to take its time getting here and put us through some trials before giving us what we want. and that really does make it all the better when you think about it. or let's keep telling ourselves that! have a great weekend EG. hope your power stays on!!!

Lovely shot of a wooden barn in its declining years... the snow is a soft buffer in this pastoral scene... Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteVery nice. Nothing like that here in southern California.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at the size of the barns in your area! They make ours look miniature!

This is a beautiful scene, although it looks as if both buildings could use a little TLC.

It is a pretty shot of a typical rural scene. Nice.
ReplyDeleteGood composition ...
ReplyDeleteI feel the trees on the right side are a bit distracting, cropping them will be much better..
Nice calm colours!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell which bits of the barn roof require some attention.
ReplyDeleteif this barn can talk... it speaks volume. it has a lot of history to tell.
