North of Mount Albert (East Gwillimbury), Ontario
A few flurries every day keeps the snow white, looking pristine, but the day I took this photo no snow fell and the sky was free of clouds. There's something invigorating about a blue sky!

So strange to imagine you at the other side of the world, with all this snow, when here it's sunny and almost spring.. Your landscape seems so quiet and peaceful!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely showing the countryside at it's best! Snowing here today. I love the look of the sow but wouldn't it be nice to have it a little less time? Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteLove how this shows the lay of the land. (I am ready for some blue skies here! We had about 3 inches of snow yesterday, but the streets melted off real quick...and a lot of it is gone. Tomorrow supposed to be in the 50's but with rain.)
ReplyDeleteI was visiting a friend in Mount Albert last night.... that's a lovely view across the white frozen fields but I an yearning for spring. This winter seems to have been so snowy and far too long.
ReplyDeleteThat beautiful image would make a wonderful greeting card. Very, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is a postcard picture. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Another super winter shot! Hopefully we will have spring shots soon.
ReplyDeleteLove how the snow lies so softly on the branches of the fir trees.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful to me! We finally got snow again (2 time this winter) Wednewsday night and then again early Thursday before I awoke. You know what I did all day Thursday even tho I was up late walking in the snow the night before! Possible new snwostorm tonight or Sunday. Only a little remains on the grass now and that is because we have had temperatures in the 20's at night.
ReplyDeleteI love your snowpack and blue skies! Our sky was blue Thursday with our snow too!
Snow all over the place on a beautiful sunny day, isn't that just great?!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
We had lots of warm rain on Friday and now our snow is gone. Yippee!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, blue sky and snow is a great combination.
ReplyDeleteA pretty scene. Snow is almost bearable if the skies are blue soon after the snowfall. (I said "almost" . . . )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful farm, EG. There is nothing more peaceful for me than a fresh blanket of snow upon the landscape.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a truly gorgeous day north of East Gwillimbury! And you took wonderful advantage of it with this beautiful rural shot! Reminds me of Ocala's rolling hills...well, without the snow...
ReplyDelete"Wonky"? Heh, heh!
Beautiful landscape, just great!! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSOOC Sunday
A snowy landscape and a beautiful blue sky makes for a lovely image. Your photo certainly is.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely winter scene.
ReplyDeleteYes a blue sky always makes me happy :)
ReplyDeleteSo does your kind comments EG :)
Have a nice week!
Oh snow and i bet you it is cold. Happy SOOC Sunday.
ReplyDeleteMine is here
Fabulous landscape.
ReplyDeleteIs that snow crunching under your feet I hear?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cool colours and peaceful setting :-)
ReplyDeleteYes. Don't you just love to get out and walk in the snow on a bright blue-skied day?! ( "blue-skied," probably not really a word, right?)

A blue sky in winter always lifts my spirits. Lovely photo. I really like the color of the pale green barn in the snowy landscape.
ReplyDeleteThe blue sky sets this scene off perfectly. I really like that pristine snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shot EG. There is a very rural beauty there. MB
ReplyDeletegreat landscape and there is nothing like blue skies and sun to melt the snow away, wich I long for
ReplyDeleteThere is also something very invigorating about NO SNOW, too. We are so tired of it already. The barn looks neat and trim in this pastoral setting! The colour green of the barn is unusual since I'm used to either white or red.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful spot. As tiring as all this snow has been, it still has the power to awe and impress.
ReplyDeleteA perfect, artful photo, EG! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat winter countryside shot!
