So much to contemplate in this photo: the beautiful reflection; the mist or fog in the background; a breaking sunset or a fading sunrise; just a wonderful hint of color, Very nice!
What a fascinating reflection! Love the receding branches, the difference in color! Another terrific, creative capture! You have a great eye and you are SO good!! Hope you have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteA beautiful, reflective photo for "weekend reflections!" I don't see ANY snow in your photo....
ReplyDeleteGreat shot with that 'broken' reflection.
ReplyDeleteOverhere spring is coming too, but untill now it's still mostly grey and cold.
Enjoy your weekend!
Wonderful composition. Just love it!
ReplyDeleteLeif,
ReplyDeleteThe only snow we have today is what used to be snowbanks. :)) Of course, we can always get more snow yet, but it will melt away fairly quickly!
I love the effect of the half reflection caused by water and ice.
ReplyDeleteVery romantic post, the tree reflection is adorable!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Léia
Amazing beauty.I could sit and look at that one for a long time. Thanks for the beauty.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteIt is! It is!! Yippee!! Spring is just around a corner--somewhere.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot and reflection. MB
Good to see the ice melt away ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the difference between places where there's ice and places where there's not!Winter is slowly saying good bye!
ReplyDeleteI love this shot--and I can see spring coming in this picture. I like the rusts and reds in the foliage along the banks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the red branches along the shore.
ReplyDeleteOh fantastic. You caught the receding ice just along the line of the branches. Fantastic colours too!
ReplyDeleteWow, that one belongs in a frame. Evocative and moody, and great composition.
ReplyDeletelovely colour in that photo.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeletethe ice gets thinner as the tree gets thicker
ReplyDeletedon't you just love it :)

ReplyDeleteSylvia
the ice just doesn't do as good a job of reflecting, does it?!
ReplyDeleteOg this is a good one. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I'm betting it's a nice spot when all is green!
ReplyDeleteSuch a very wonderful photo! I love that tree! :) and the lovely reflections! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet you are about as happy to see that ice recede as I was!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty reflection. Still looks "cold" there. I guess the keyword is "receding" not "gone". Soon, very soon we can use the word "gone".
ReplyDeleteGreat photo composition and reflection; just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous scene and reflections!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Yeah! Sprng is getting closer!
ReplyDeletethat is a photo to sit back and admire, just lovely,
ReplyDeleteGill
The last beautiful gasp of winter.
ReplyDeleteLike the hairline of someone I know. Love the reflections. Hope the ice is all gone soon and you can enjoy the warmth and light of spring.
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala DP: Dogs do not growl at me! Dog's lick my hand and want to sniff.
Women growl when I come close. I just don't understand! It's very discouraging. Maybe I should get a haircut?
Love the change in textures in the reflections from water to ice..very nicely captured!!!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome reflection EG. Our creek is very high now with all the snow melt, and not so pretty either.
ReplyDeleteB.
very nice reflection and love the hint of red by the tree.
ReplyDeleteYour picture gives me a sensation of cold, of winter, I don't know why... This quite an atmosphere, indeed...
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! Our creeks and streams are pretty swollen around here with the snow and ice melting...Finally :)
