Lake Simcoe/ Weekend Reflections

Cottage reflection last night on a Lake Simcoe inlet

This photo was taken yesterday just before sunset when the sun was low in the sky.

I was most interested in the light and reflection of the porch railings, how the railings in the reflection became squiggly lines.

  3. Wonderful reflection. It's probably a good thing the lines are squiggly, otherwise it would be difficult to tell real from reflection.

  4. Yes, the lines are interesting. I want to turn the photo upside down and view the reflection that way. It would be like an arty focus of some sort.

  7. Perfect shot. And the lake looks ice free. I would like a cabin on a lake. MB
