Sandpiper/ Watery Wednesday

As you have probably already guessed, I was crouched down behind some rocks when I took these photos.

Is this sandpiper  admiring its own reflection?

  4. What a lovely looking bird. Crouching down behind rocks is a sign of true dedication to your craft. Fortunatley for me I don't have to try that. LOL!

  12. What a difference in the feathers in the first and 2nd shot. The first one shows all of its little ruffled feathers. :-)

    That big white eye ring really stands out in the top photo. Don't think I've seen it so clearly before.
