See no EVIL, hear no EVIL. say no EVIL
I took this photo while visiting an East Gwillimbury garden where these monkeys were positioned on rocks beside a fountain. Oh how I wish I could be as wise as these monkeys!
I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE
Aren't they wise and lovely fellows!
ReplyDeleteI love it...If only we all could.
ReplyDeletePretty cute. Where are think no evil and do no evil?
ReplyDeletecan't remember if I told you, I went to Australia and they gave me a Tee Shirt , but featuring frogs. They say, there is no monkeys in Australia.
ReplyDeleteMay be I should take a photo of that Tee shirt, though it is too cold to wear Teeshirts now. Was 12 degrees this morning, and it is Autumn.
Yes, who knows.. I'll not be surprised if the human beeings are the dummiest.. the most silly among us.. :))
ReplyDeleteNice picture! :)
Good advice...if only we'd follow it!
ReplyDeleteCute little guys with a great message!
ReplyDeleteI have a small version of this statue on my shelf. I love the monkey wisdom.
ReplyDeleteYa, but it takes 3 monkeys to be 'wise'.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy biggest problem has to do with the one on the right! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of a little monkey business!
I want a tee shirt like the one Ann has with the frogs on it!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat garden piece.
ReplyDeleteBut were those monkeys having any fun??
ReplyDeleteThis will put a smile on everyone's face!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked these monkeys - nice!
ReplyDeleteThat is just too cute!

This is great advice! I have a set of pins that I wear on sweaters. They have a good message! Thanks and come visit soon. Anne
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'll have to remember this on my quest:) Good E post.
ReplyDeleteMy second grade teacher had a poster of these little fellows. I'm surprised I can remember that far back!
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice, words of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's better say nothing. It's an exercise, something that I need to think of.
Hugs

Hi again!
ReplyDeleteGreat ‘E’ post & words of wisdom!
Have a great weekend ahead & look forward to *seeing* you again next time,
LOLA:)
Oh, bless you!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me laugh and cry all at the same time. One of my dear friends is quite ill. She is elderly so I can only pray she finds a peaceful passing.
Whenever she and I would get together, there was always a third friend that tagged along. I have so many pictures of us doing that pose. I was always "Hear no evil" in the pictures!
This was wonderful.
Thank you for an excellent link!
A+
Two Christmas ago, when our three were home, they were sitting on the couch together and struck that pose as I took a photo of them :o)
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
Thank you for visiting and thank you for your kind words about the stained glass I showed...it was my second stained glass piece that I had done :o)
Great shot. I've always loved these posed monkeys...
ReplyDelete=)
I love this. What a great 'E' post.
ReplyDeleteThat's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect e post...
The statues are very beautiful ! but I don't agree with you they are not "wise" they just want to ignore problems ! lol !
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice for us today! Glad you took the photo and used it for E!
ReplyDeleteWise monkeys. I have a tshirt with similar monkeys - It says, "See Swiss Chocolate, Hear Swiss Chocolate, Eat Swiss Chocolate". Wise wise monkeys indeed! ;)
ReplyDeleteSo so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love them!
Hee. Seeing this photo of the monkey statue reminds me of a similar image that can be found at a shrine in Nikko. Also monkeys doing the same action. Maybe the monkeys are on to something that we're not aware of? :)
ReplyDeleteEspecially the SPEAK no evil part. How different the world would be if we could only all live by that rule!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
