That colour tugs at your heart strings. So typical and uplifting. Yours don't seem to have an orange blob in the center, like ours over here. BTW, I like what you've done with the place :-)
I have many yellow violets in my flower beds, but the purple ones seem to prefer the wilder areas in the woods--so far, anyway! I like violets, and would prefer them to some of the other weeds that take over anyplace I neglect for very long!
Oh, what a wonderful macro you captured in pictures! Soon it will be a long vacation in Sweden for me and Swedish flowers on Monday macro! Have a nice day!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
Nice macro of the violet. I love them, but I do have problems with them invading the garden.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, it shows the flower so well!
Unfortunately, I think these plants go where they want to go, and they don't ask permission first! Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThat is such an amazing shade. They are hardy indeed and seem to pop out of nowhere.

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize they could be invasive. We have a tiny yellow one around here but it doesn't seem to invade the garden.

ReplyDeleteI do believe this is the exact variety of woodland violet that we have growing in our woods in early spring.
ReplyDeleteGreat macro shot!
ReplyDeleteViolets are one of my favorite flowers! Gorgeous close-up shot :D

ReplyDeleteI have to remember the name of this flower. This flower is dainty and I like how purple the color is. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteMacro Monday
Awesome color on these wild beauties. I have a section of lawn that is nothing but violets. When the grass turns purple, I know it's spring.
ReplyDeleteSo delicate and pretty. I have a big "patch" of them--never planted a one, but somehow they got started and have spread all over. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful shot of the violet...probably the best I have ever seen.
