Tulipa Tarda/ Macro Monday

Species tulips: Tulipa Tarda

I'm very fond of these diminutive tulips! Unfortunately my neighbourhood squirrels like them too. Good eating, they think!

    Is everything springlike now?
    Not a flake of snow left?
    They are the only tulips I really care for. Nice to see them now that ours are long gone.

  17. Wow this is tulips? I have not seen this even in the Tulips Festival in Holland,Michigan. I think you've got a very good and rare kind of tulips there. And yes squirrel love it too! ^_^ Thanks for the visit I do appreciate it.

  18. We went to a Thai restaurant the other evening which served edible flowers. I did not eat them.

    These are funky. I mean, c'mon, someone forgot to finish painting the leaves! Sheesh!
