These fellows look very fuzzy-wuzzy. Love the coloration in the capture. Went upstairs yesterday and brought down my moth and butterfly book for the summer. We are seeing more, but they have a long ways to go to be here in mass like they were last summer. Great shots. Genie
I took some photos of these a few weeks ago, not knowing what they were, they are so very unusual with those double wings and huge wide set eyes. Now I know what they are I can post a photo :-)
They are also incredibly difficult to photograph - somehow they are not photogenic at all, I know not why.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
i love them too! they're adorable and SO fast!
ReplyDeleteThey look so soft and fuzzy. :) That sounds more like a description for a teddy bear or bunny.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of this one.
ReplyDeleteNice shots. I am impressed that you know the names of the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteThe richness of the brown against the green leaves makes an eye-catching photo.
