ReplyDeleteA fantastic sunset with the silhouettes of the power towers!
ReplyDeleteYou should put together a sunset/sunrise book of your photos!
ReplyDeletePerfect combination of sky and towers - it makes a great statement about power.

I love this . . . the softness of the colors in contrast to the hard lines of the transformers. Beautiful.
ReplyDeletegreat title and description for this shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, indeed a powerful sunset!
ReplyDeleteHuge towers of electricity there and the sunset is very gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLéia
that is one powerful sunset. do'h! it's a beauty. there's something ominous about power lines. maybe it's because I live so near a power plant and the landscape is scattered with more than I want to see. you've managed to make them look graceful and lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou have shown us that even something as intrusive and potentially ugly as power lines can look good in the right light. Its a beautiful shot.

Perfect title for this beautiful photograph.
ReplyDeleteThose are what would have been called "monster pylons" around here!
ReplyDeleteA real electrifying shot :-)
I loved your title for this gorgeous sunset. Sometimes the power lines add to the drama and beauty and I think this is such a case. Almost like sculpture.
ReplyDeleteI really love this composition.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours!!
ReplyDeleteLove your title - fabulous shot!
ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like a skeletonized space shuttle, taking off.
ReplyDeleteWow, powerful in every way!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset and I love the "electrifying" composition!

This is gorgeous! What a spectacular sky. :D
ReplyDeletePS: I'm back in Toronto for good. But internet is spotty for the time being, as I am using it in cafes or at my kitchen window (when the neighbor's are not on). Hope we can still plan a meet-up. The weather is certainly better for it now. :)
Great sunset. Great picture of the sunset. Great title for the post of the picture of the sunset!
ReplyDeleteYou've made something that I don't like look so good!
ReplyDeleteExcellent, EG. This looks like the cover for an electric company's annual report.

Beautiful sky, the tower do make it that much more dramatic. Gorgeous photo.

ReplyDeleteHeaven is burning - Call the fire brigade.
A wonderful sunset ad a great capture, not that I am a fan of those monsters creeping across the landscape but they do have their uses. Like your pun.
ReplyDeleteBeatiful red sunset. I have reds in my pics for Skywatch but they are the fires burning in AZ.
ReplyDeleteLove the pun. Great stunning colour in that sky.
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly a gloriously coloured sky.
