Ferry from Georgina Island (in Lake Simcoe) coming into the mainland at Virginia Beach, Ontario
This is the same ferry that was out of the water last winter at this My World post.
I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.
WOW! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat colors in this photo.
ReplyDeleteDarla
I love going on car ferries.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see your pictures I often think of how dry my life has been. I've been to a few lakes but of course none so spectacular as even your smallest ones and I have only ridden on one ferry in my entire life. So I just continue thinking "Maybe someday!"
ReplyDeleteLovely photo! I've only been on one ferry as well, a small one at that. Stay cool! (It's forecasted to be 29 C here tomorrow. It'd be a great day to be by the lake!)
ReplyDeleteI love ferries and this one's a little gem. Superb colours, too.
ReplyDeleteQuite nice lighting in this one.
ReplyDeleteTh ferry looks a bit wider than most of the ones we have here
ReplyDeletethe pink sky is a perfect backdrop for the blue ferry. I also love how the water is reflecting the color of the sky. beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteJust checking in to see how you are doing and you are just fine I see. The sky behind the boat promises a nice forcast for the next day. V
ReplyDeleteI like the way you captured this ferry against that pretty evening sky. The placement of the bridge on the ferry is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat blue is very beautiful with the pinkisch background. The composition of the photo is great.
ReplyDeleteWe drove up to Lake Huron this weekend for some golf. We passed through West Gwillimbury on the 400. But it didn't "wow" me the way the East side does. ;-)
ReplyDeletePS: I am sending this comment from the comfort of my sofa on my very own internet connection!!!
Wonderful colours - love that pink sky!
ReplyDeleteThat is huge!!
ReplyDeleteHow‘s your Independence day celebration?
I've never seen a ferry that carries automobile in person and I wanted so badly to see one :)
ReplyDeleteHoped you weekend was wonderful.
This photo is wonderful, but I love the signage, and commentary. You wonder what tehy are thinking...
ReplyDeleteCheers from S.E. Ontario !
Nice shot! I think that's the smallest ferry I've ever seen. Cool!
ReplyDeleteGee, it's a little guy, isn't it? Hardly takes a dozen vehicles, if that.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the end of another perfect day. Wonderful image!
ReplyDeleteA great shot, love the pink sky!
ReplyDeleteThe more I see of your water shots of Ontario the higher up it goes on my must see list of places in life :-) Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteThis ferry is surely much happier in these waters, than on frozen water!
ReplyDeleteWow, what wonderful colors. Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colourings in this photo - well captured.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very modern and shot the pic at a great time! In my childhood I went regularly on a ferry - such fun!
