Ferry/ Watery Wednesday

Ferry from Georgina Island (in Lake Simcoe) coming into the mainland at Virginia Beach, Ontario

This is the same ferry that was out of the water last winter at this My World post.

I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

  3. When I see your pictures I often think of how dry my life has been. I've been to a few lakes but of course none so spectacular as even your smallest ones and I have only ridden on one ferry in my entire life. So I just continue thinking "Maybe someday!"

  4. Lovely photo! I've only been on one ferry as well, a small one at that. Stay cool! (It's forecasted to be 29 C here tomorrow. It'd be a great day to be by the lake!)

  10. I like the way you captured this ferry against that pretty evening sky. The placement of the bridge on the ferry is very interesting.

  12. We drove up to Lake Huron this weekend for some golf. We passed through West Gwillimbury on the 400. But it didn't "wow" me the way the East side does. ;-)

PS: I am sending this comment from the comfort of my sofa on my very own internet connection!!!
