This is a little different than the ones we get at the cabin. No Chickadees down here in Lincoln. As for the snow, the winter snow pack was more than 150% of normal and spring and early summer were unusually cool. It has been melting fast, lately.
Goodness me! What a fantastic shot! So sweet! Your previous post of the hummingbird is absolutely amazing too - you're so lucky to have those magical birds where you live!
EG : ) Hello there ! .. i love these little creatures especially since they nested in an ornamental bird box we have this past Spring .. they are so hard to capture with the camera .. very fast and not one to sit long. You did GREAT !! Joy : )
What a splendid little bird - used to have ones that looked very much like this in the UK - but we dont have them in Australia. Shame really, as they are a great garden bird.
Always in search of a squirrel resistant feeder, this one here looks to be of industrial strength. Maybe squirrel proof. Nice shot of one of my favorite birds.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
