Fish Sanctuary/ Watery Wednesday

Fish Sanctuary on Lake Scugog, Port Perry, Ontario

This is a watery path that leads from a boat launch into Lake Scugog. No fishing allowed here between April first to the second Friday in May.

  4. I agree with Cezar and Leia, it's a fantastic angle. But if you did not say it leads to a lake, i am wondering how it happened to be a fish sanctuary.

  7. You've made a fine composition out of all that was available to you. I like the way the waterway curves back through the reeds. Fine image.

  23. As you can tell from my last posts, I spent much of last week close to a national wildlife preserve in VA. It was wonderful. Sights like the one you captured in this photograph were what I saw and loved. I love the way the water in the marshes runs through the grasses....like a little watery winding road. Beautiful shot. genie

  24. What a lovely place. The colours are go good. To answer your question about how I progessed my glass shots, I just adjusted the exposure (reduced) and colours.

  29. Love the way you shot this from a vertical angle--it emphasizes the meandering path of the water. What kind of fish?
