Oh, how I wish our local fields had this much hay on them! After the devastation of the drought and production down over 70 percent, now a lot of hay is in danger of being destroyed by these raging fires!
Beautiful Sunrise !!! Having spent my childhood years ( until I was 17 ) on the Farm...I just know the farmer is out milking the cows or preparing to harvest some of his crops by the time you took this photo.
What to say but wow - a stunner indeed. Worth the early rise and patient wait. A winning shot in any competition (and secretly my fave this week, shhhh!)
And what a "big winner" you were--that is spectacular. Could you have taken a better shot!!! The sun coming up behind the silo is fabulous. Wow, wow, wow. Mickie :)
I have joined the Skywatch meme for the first time this week, calling by to visit you as another participant. Stunning shot I am never up early enough to see such beauty.
This is another one of those shots that could have been taken here in Rockbridge County. The hay bales look so familiar, but all of our are gone from the fields and are in barns or covered in plastic wrappings for the winter use. Beautiful capture...there is nothing like a farm at this time of the day. genie
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
Dramatic yellow in the horizon, it's wonderful!
