Seen at artist Viktor Tinkl's home, Sunderland, Ontario
Some of us have skeletons in our closets but Viktor Tinkl has them on his house and in various places around the property he owns with his wife, Judith. Tinkl's figures are made of cement so are permanent -- not just for Halloween.
On the side of his workshop
Menacing? No! Tinkl's art is more humourous than scary.
Do you feel the joie de vivre here?
Okay, the photo above is NOT of a skeleton, but don't you agree that the figures here look like they are having FUN?
Another skeleton but created in a different style
Have you also noticed that Tinkl uses recycled materials as well as cement?

This artist’s creativity knows no bounds by the looks of it! These unique statues displayed year round around his home are certainly eye catching. It would be an especially neat place to go trick or treating tonight. :)

He's really an artist! I couldn't live with a skeleton on my house but I must admit those skeletons are funny!
ReplyDeleteGreat sculptures! They are all having fun, you are right!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully whimsical. Love!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove 'em all but then, I'm not at all skittish when it comes to skeletons. He sure has a great sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteVery clever and he has a sense of humour, but I don't think I would want them around my house on a permanent basis. He obviously has a fascination for the human frame.
ReplyDeleteThese are just fantastic. Super that he has the property to have fun and be creative like that, just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThese skeletons are really fun and i love that they are made of recycled stuff as well as cement!
ReplyDeleteLorelei would love these!
