Mid December - East Gwillimbury
This week East Gwillimbury experienced a mix of rain and snow and even a few hours of sun.
Largest square: Canadian National passing through the outskirts of town under blue skies, which are usually very rare this time of year.
Moving clockwise: grass and cattails on the edge of a local creek, not yet frozen; snow on dried beech leaves; snow on young white pine tree; melted snow on back of fallen leaf; and black alder on edge of creek.
Please visit Michelle at Rambling Woods for more NATURE NOTES.
The leaf with raindrops looks like it could have been in our yard. Are you having a milder winter than usual? I seem to remember more snow at your place but maybe that was later in the year.

stunning photos as always. I'm enjoying our December-feels-like-September weather.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I said when your pictures came up "WOW!!!" Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! No snow yet for us...warm and raining.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can't believe you have weather like this yet! Maybe you are getting let off because of last years weather:)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful, warm, golden, collage!
This is a really beautiful collage! I especially like the leave...well...and the train. :)
ReplyDeleteI can see a green Christmas on the horizon can't you?

Great selection of pictures.
ReplyDeleteNeat collage. I admire those who know how to do this, I don't. Its probably an easy thing to do with the right program but I have a hard enough time just doing what I do now. Maybe I should say, I waste enough time already on the blogging procedure. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a strange weather week being pretty mild today..You really do what I say I should do and that is get out and take the photos anyway...lol....Have a great week EG....Michelle
ReplyDeleteLovely collage. I find it interesting that here in southern California we have more snow than you do!!! Lol. I'm sure ours won't last but it is trippy.
ReplyDeleteI love your collage!! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely starting to look like winter in your neck of the woods. I always enjoy your collages.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful nature scenes and the train is cool. Wonderful photos and mosaic.
ReplyDeleteGreat fun. The train provides a flash of color as it speeds toward spring!
ReplyDeleteYou've put together another wonderful collage. I really like the leaf with the snow and the leaf with raindrops.
