A beautiful scene and a gorgeous sky. I am amazing at the ice fishing and the huts. The snowmobiling sounds like fun, have you tried it? Beautiful shots, happy skywatching!
I know that ice is thick, but I get nervous seeing those fishing huts so far out, especially in the spring when they just can't seem to want the ice fishing season to be over.
A colleague is flying out to Québec on Saturday for a snowy honeymoon, I'm so envious! She's going to snowmobile, she's going to have snow, cold, beautiful sunsets... Yup, I'm trying to tell you I'm jealous! :-)
A beautiful winter scene, and hopefully the ice is thick enough to hold up the snowmobiles and ice-fishermen. So many horror stories around the country this month, but this looks nice and peaceful. K
Gorgeous way to end a day and terrific captures as always! Love the colors! It does look COLD, but beautiful! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm!
Well, you had to have had some pretty cold weather to freeze the lake enough for ice fishing and snowmobiling ... ice fishing never appealed to me. But taking photos of gorgeous sunsets like this did!
didn't I see people being rescued off the ice on Lake Scugog on TV recently.... ice wasn't thick enough and lots of open water showing. I hope everyone is being careful.
What a wonderful sunset, specially the first shot is great. I love the combination of the cold snow and ice with the warm colors of the sun. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend.
