The ice is beautiful! Looking through my archives, I realized I didn't show any of my family day shots, but now I don't know if I can b/c they're filled with ice and snow! :)
How lovely are those shots I especially like the first one - we are moving slowly into Spring over here - mind you that does not mean we won't get an icy blast or two this month - Jane UK
Brrr... It was windy but warm enough down here (near Chicago) that I walked around without a jacket. Those icicles sure do make for some great pictures. I hope you didn't get splashed by those waves.
Oh darn! All that ice. It was 82 degrees here today which means all the Canadians will stay another couple of weeks and the golf courses will stay crowded. Sheesh!
I remember Lake Superior when it got stormy. Very scary!
How are things going, if you know what I mean? As you will see, I keep adding things ...
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

I absolutely love the last shot, such thick ice on the branches. Quite an artistic shot.
ReplyDeleteAwesome icicles.
ReplyDeleteYour top image is outstanding! It could be a book cover.
ReplyDeleteCold, I bet, but the icicles are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures! If you're frequenting the lake, keep an eye open for the return of our migrant birds.
ReplyDeleteThe Lake does look choppy, great contrast with the stillness of the icicles!
ReplyDeleteA lovely icy winterland there. It odes look cold there. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteSplendid shot of the ice – it’s not something I see a great deal of here, even in winter!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Australia
Very cold. We are just turning to warm here in Ohio. And I like it.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, Roger just kicked on the Air Conditioner. We have had temps around 80 the past couple of days.
