Blue-eyed grass
This Ontario wildflower is not a true grass in spite of its name. Its leaves - which I have neglected to photograph - just look like grass. The blossom is less than 3/4 of an inch in diameter, so quite small.

ReplyDeleteLovely! I have seen a flower called "blue-eyed grass" in Va. too but it was a more pale blue....still looks just like this one. Probably related.
