Unruly utility poles reflected in Canal Lake
Keeping poles standing upright must be a full-time job for utility companies, at least where I live. The poles around this lake point every which way.
Same day but a few minutes drive around the lake
The air was a tad misty looking in this direction (easterly).

That begs the question - in what condition were the pole men? :-) A fine reflection.
ReplyDeleteThe movement of the water added pizzazz to the tree reflection.
ReplyDeleteThose are some wobbly looking poles. I sure like your reflections tho.
ReplyDeleteDarla
i like that squiggly tree in the water
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at RunE's comment. It sure looks peaceful there tho.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful lake!
ReplyDeletei like them both, but that tree squiggle in the 2nd is great!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer the second photo. Power lines would be so much better if they were buried as they often are in European countries. After a Midwest storm, too often lines are down with resulting power outages.
ReplyDeleteThe leaning poles make interesting lines as they reflect in the water.
ReplyDeleteI LoVE that 2nd shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the second composition :)
ReplyDeleteHope you don't get any hurricanes up there, 'cause those poles will end up in Florida! Great shot(s) - both of 'em. Super reflection in both also!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful reflections, especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a fantastic weekend!
You caught beautiful and fine reflections today!
ReplyDeleteLOL, those are some wonky angles on the telephone posts! Love the reflections as well :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love those watery reflections, EG! And I particularly love the squiggly tree trunk reflection in the last shot! Great ones for the day as always! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!

Love your watery reflections. Especially the second one!
ReplyDeleteI love how the little ripple distorts the reflection ... makes it even more interesting. Reflections are fun, glad I found this meme through you :) Have a great weekend ( amd more good pictures).

We have unruly utility poles down here in Tennessee as well. I like the reflections you've captured, even on a misty day.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection you captured here. Wondering who would install unruly poles though.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections. Love the second one.
ReplyDeleteThe ripples make an interesting effect.
ReplyDeleteUtility poles, especially crooked ones, aren't typically the nicest things to look at, but you've put them to good use for your reflection shot here. In the second one I like how the reflection of the tree shows up in graphic lines.
ReplyDeleteI really love the ripples in the second shot making that tree's reflection look "fuzzy"
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons why underground lines are better! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that first shot!
