Happiness is.../Sunday Best

Happiness in a beautiful spring day

This oriole was singing a lovely song -  a very happy bird!

I was pretty happy too as I am usually able to get this close to an oriole.

  11. They are a pretty bird. One spring we had one that knocked on our windows for about four days. Not sure what that was all about.

  25. Don't see many orioles down this way...fine photos of a gorgeous creature. We have mostly meadowlarks (at least that's what I think they are) and they do sing a lot. We also have a bunch of Canadian gooses who must have lost their way 'cause they want to stay even though it's getting quite warm. :-)
