Ranger Rick?/Camera Critters

 Baby raccoon

This is one of four babies waiting for mama to return from foraging eating peanuts being given her by visitors to the conservation area where these critters liive.

 All four babies

The light was bad and the little raccoons would not stay still, so the photo is a bit fuzzy. But you can see there are four.

Mama must have told them to stay in the tree because they did. But they were ALL OVER the tree - practicing their up-and-down skills, I guess.

  30. Cute little bandits. I have not seen them in these parts, but we have a skunk sometimes. Makes me worry to go out the back door at night. I do not want to scare him...but we can tell when he is near...smell.
