Morning Mist/Rural Thursday

 Mist on the fields

Sunday was one of those days when it paid to be up before the sun.

A slightly different view

  4. Pięknie słońce wychodzi z zza horyzontu i oświetla śliczny krajobraz. Pozdrawiam.
Beautiful sun comes out from behind the horizon and illuminates the beautiful landscape. Yours.

  13. Oh thank you for capturing this for us to see (I rise early for work reasons, but otherwise tend toward night owl habits). It's so peaceful and serene, a great way to take my midday break :)

  20. It's usually the best time of day, so I'm told by those who try it more regularly than I do. It certainly paid off for those two beautiful shots.

  27. Misty mornings are my favorite kind! Nicely done! What a lovely countryside.

But I've got to tell you that we don't have mosquitoes in Florida. The ones here, unlike their human counterparts, are from Ontario. They summerbirds, not snowbird.

And you know, of course, that the mosquito is the Minnesota state bird!

  28. Love the mist. What a nice catch! It's hard to get that in a pic. Looks like something out of Africa.

  33. Hard to say which I prefer - the colour is wonderful in the first, but the reflection in the second is so appealing...
