Colour/Rural Thursday

 Roadside colour in Muskoka in Toronto's Cottage Country

Every autumn my husband and I like to take a day to travel northerly to see the changing leaf colour there. It had been a dry summer so I was surprised to see how rich the colours were this year.

    Your colors cannot rival our colors!! :>) This year the leaves are brilliant and beautiful, especially along the Mississippi river. I think I'll suggest our annual autumn ride along the river this Sunday. Thanks for the idea!!

    The colors are gorgeous! I never get enough of seeing it. We've had a dry year too so I was surprised at how much color we had. It didn't last long though with all the wind we've had.

    I love fall and love the colors in that first shot. We were in Banff and Jasper National Parks last weeke and the week before the the aspen were getting beautiful there.

    Wow! Spectacular color! Our summer was extremely dry, too, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Looks like dry is the perfect formula for brilliant color!

    You have beautiful colors up there! It looks just like classic New England. We love our annual northerly fall drives, though we're skipping them for once this year due to other commitments. At least I get to see it vicariously through you! (Another good reason to blog:)
