Halloween house decorating is something that has really caught on in Canada.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if Halloween is for the kiddies or the adults?!
ReplyDeletePeople have been creative.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing other people's creativity I have an orange stuffed pumpkin with an orange dress blowing in the wind:) B
ReplyDeleteThere is something cheerful about these scenes perhaps because of how the light falls on the decorations. Looks like both western and eastern Canada are thinking alike. :)
ReplyDeleteCharming and gorgeous Halloween decoration.Wonderful pictures!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Fun decorations. There don't seem to be as many outdoor decorations in our neighborhood this year as there have been in the past.
ReplyDeleteDarla

Fabulous word play. I think my favourite is M.T.Box. Would you believe I didn't 'get it' until I read it aloud?
ReplyDeleteAll of these headstones are so hilarious!
ReplyDeleteYes this place is so great to visit with my daughters. We laugh and visit with others there and laugh some more.
Rare to see those kinds of displays in Scotland!
ReplyDeleteGreat names!
ReplyDeleteThose names on the tumb stone are actually very funny... We don't have this kind of Halloween ornaments in France, so thanks for this sharing.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the use of the dried flowers! So much happier than ghouls and monsters! :)

ReplyDeleteClever names! A few doors away, one neighbor has a bunch of headstones covering her lawn. I should check those out to see if they're as funny as these.

I had no idea Sandy was going to impact you all. That is way up there. It definitely the Halloween Monster Storm. Wish its gravestone was here with all the other ones you posted. They are so clever. Our weather has gotten worse all day, and now we are in the middle of the howling wind. genie

ReplyDeletewow, your photos look gorgeous, these warm colors and how they shine ...
ReplyDeleteI have a dear friend in Canada, she spoiled me with such images, thanks ...
One of my favourite things at this time of the year was to walk around the neighbourhood and see how people decorated their homes for Halloween. Some families went all out and created scenes worthy of a movie set. Loved it! Miss it now.
ReplyDeleteM.T. Box is my favourite. After years in the business of manufacturing seasonal decor, I now don't do Halloween (or any holiday season) at all, but I agree with you it's fun to see how others decorate.
ReplyDeleteHalloween decorations seem to get more creative every year.
ReplyDeleteWe only have a pumpkin outside the house. These decorations are amazing.
ReplyDeletesoooo funny!
