Barn behind corn field and spruce trees
This was taken at sunrise after a cold night with frost. And then I decided...
"Pencil sketch"
to experiment with Photo Shop Elements. Yep, I like the original too but hey! I still wanted to show you how the "pencil sketch" turned out.
I am linking to
Now that is cool:) I do love the original though. B
ReplyDeleteI like both of them although both of them are very cool, and mean "cool" in a couple of ways.
ReplyDeleteHi, EG. Re your question on Florida Fotos: Nobody was collecting leaves. We were eating ice cream on the porch of a little sandwich shop and the leaf fell into the napkin basket. Naturally, I had to take a pic. :-)
ReplyDeleteMe again! Sorry, that was on the Images blog. But you knew that!
ReplyDeleteWhen I have the time, I like spending time changing the looks of my photos. I use PicMonkey.
ReplyDeletei think the pencil sketch turned out pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I believe this is known as "on the ground photography!"
ReplyDeleteyou already know i like to play in PS and both are great, the colors of that sky in the first are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work.
ReplyDeleteeverybody can be an artist now.
ReplyDeleteI like them both! Have just started playing with photos myself. Using Picasa, but just bought PhotoShop Elements. You've inspired me to try it out!
ReplyDeleteBoth photos are pretty! I have Photos Shop Elements and have to star learning to use it.
ReplyDeletei like the murky sky.
ReplyDeleteCreative shots and great 'pencil sketch' ~ (A Creative Harbor) ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love them both. Beautiful sunrise.
ReplyDeleteI love both (I LOVE playing with filters in photoshop), but what I love most is that you were able to retain detail in the cornfield even though the sky was undoubtedly a brighter light value. Well done! Love the muted hues once again. Love sunrises and sunsets...
ReplyDeleteI think the corn might be waving in the first picture!
ReplyDeleteI love the original too, but the second is very cool. I don't use Photoshop so am very fascinated by all the things you can do with it!
ReplyDeleteOh so very unique, the corn fields in front! and the read sky!
ReplyDeleteYes, it looks as pencil sketch no 2, and it IS, a digital one. It's fun to make photos to drawings like that! :)
and wow - what a fantasic reflection below here!! :)
They both look cold as well as cool!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo, in both formats!
ReplyDeleteExperimenting with the different "looks" is really fun.
The original is very nice! But I'm no PhotoShop fan ...
ReplyDeleteExcellent perspective in this shot. The processing creates a painting effect.
ReplyDeleteSeeing this reminds me that I really should spend some time learning more effects for photo editing.
ReplyDeleteI like it. Cool effects on this pic. Frost...I do like cooler weather but when it interferes with short weather, I've got issues:)
ReplyDeleteI like your experimentation and do like them both!
ReplyDeletegreat editing
ReplyDeleteSo lovely.
ReplyDeleteBoth looks good. I found it hard to select.
ReplyDeleteYup I like them both but my favourite is the first one. It almost looks like a painting. :)
ReplyDeleteFab first image EG. It's such fun playing with effects, I haven't tried the pencil sketch one yet.
ReplyDeleteLooks so cold! Love both renditions. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pencil sketch is a cool effect!
ReplyDelete=)
Great photo, but the "pencil sketch" is beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely but the original looks more like a painting than a photo...extraordinary! Love it!
