A week ago on a walk down a woodland path, my husband and I came upon a flock of approximately two dozen wild turkeys. They were way more interested in scratching the earth for bugs and worms than they were in me and my camera.
Wow, these are really great turkey shots! aka a turkey shoot. LOL They have made their way into our area too but I don't know what they do with all this snow.
We had the kids over last Saturday. The city boy and his girlfriend were here, too. GF wandered and looked out the back door at the 12 turkeys. Holy smoke, she was surprised! Our are huge!

How lucky for you, our wild turkeys are so skittish of people I could never get a shot of them this close.

amazing shots and i have never seen a wild one. hubby has, he used to hunt in PA when he lived up there. i rather hunt with my camera.

How neat to see a whole flock, and better yet, get several pictures of them! I guess they were happy they survived Thanksgiving. :)
