1. Small things
Welcome to Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Snow and cow hair on barbed wire fence.
2. Illustration
Well, I cannot draw well so this outdoor skating rink was worked in Photoshop Elements to illustrate what some Canadian children (and their dads) do outdoors in February.
3. Valentine
Obviously the violet is from my archives! I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
4. Work of Art
Mother Nature is an amazing artist.
Window of Beauty
This ephemeral beauty on my sun room window melted when the sun came out.
I am linking to Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt HERE
I love PhotoShop Elements and all that is possible with that program. Window Beauty is beautiful indeed. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteYou outdid yourself with this post. Super job on each of these photos. That first pic: Wonder how the cow is feeling?
ReplyDeleteWow, these are gorgeous!! Love the illustration!
ReplyDeleteYou did good with this. I'm reminded of my kids playing on the ponds when they were young with their dad.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images! I really like what you did with Illustration. And the work of art is gorgeous. Love the frosty window! Well done, happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the cow hair in the barbed wire fence but not the snow! Great photo, and I like the others too!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection. You certainly have an eye for the "ice art."

thanks for explaining the cow hair - i was trying to figure out how pine needles were stuck to a fence. :)
ReplyDeletei was seriously wondering what that was - never would have guessed "cow hair" - you got me there. ha. ha! i love the illustration - neat effect. ( :
ReplyDeleteMarvellous as usual!

ReplyDeleteohhh. you've inspired me to explore photoshop to see if i can make an illustration like yours. love all the nature shots.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try that illustration function. Another great scavenger hunt!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the prompts! You even make cow hair on a barbed wire fence look great. I like the illustration of the skaters. I'm going to have to learn Photoshop elements.
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is mesmerizing in its details and I absolutely love how you took the picture of the skating fun and turned it into an illustration.
ReplyDeleteWonderful wintery feel to your set. Loved the way you did the Illustration shot.
ReplyDeleteYou've got some wonderful submissions here for SHS. love the ice/frost art, although I know winters are not fun for y'all. How neat that you can create a sketch out of a photo in PSE.
ReplyDeleteLovely finishing touches on your photos!
ReplyDeleteThose frost photos are marvelous!
ReplyDelete=)
Love your frosty photos! The barbed wire fence is cool, as is the window. You did a great job on your illustration photo this week. Some of the prompts this week had me a bit perplexed, but you got them all right!
ReplyDeleteThat barbed wire is so cool! Literally, right?? ;)
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: There's another Winn on the boat which you can't see. I don't know where the other Winn was or even if there is another Winn. The Winns may be trying to confuse people. It was very winndy playing golf today - maybe that was the doing of the 4th Winn?
ReplyDeleteHow could I not love that work of art:) Beautiful all and love the way nature is showcased here, as usual!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, love that 'Work of Art" and Window of beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh my.. what gorgeous photos of the snow crystals!! Both here and under! :)
ReplyDeleteand I like the painting in photoshop! how fun! I would like to do the same! :)
I nearly forgot it's Valentine's day, on thursday. Have a lovely Valentine's Day! :)
