Well, that can't hold up much longer. It really serves no purpose, except it does make for a wonderful photo. :) Oh, and it has a lot of character. I like it! Just hope no one gets hurt.
And, don't tie your boat up here either! Your photos are so clean, crisp and focused and what great detail you've uncovered, plus that bit of reflection magic. Well shot!
