Porch/Friday fences

Porch with fence, Stouffville, Ontario

An older home on Main Street has been converted into an attractive office building for small businesses.  It seems warm and cozy. The plantings and bench make it even more so.  Doesn't it make you want to find out what businesses are there?

I am linking to Friday Fences here.

  8. This is very attractive and inviting. Nicely-composed photo, too. In Ocala's historic district there are a number of old homes that have been converted into lawyer's or doctor's offices. I'm glad they weren't torn down and replaced by some square concrete block structure.

I read in today's paper that the drive-in theatre up there isn't opening this year! Another great tradition ending. ;-(

  19. Oh, so you're not going to tell us what it is? Fair enough. I'll just picture myself on the porch with iced tea, watching the world go by.

  24. Very appealing. It looks more like a home than an office, but that is probably the idea.

  30. What a nice and inviting porch. I miss taking a walk on an Ontario street lined with homes that have porches and looking at how the porch is decorated and how a garden is designed.
