N/Alphabe-Thursday

September 2011

N is for NIGHT (A sunset is the official start of night, right?)

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, our nights are getting longer and cooler, and the skies seem perfect for creating lovely sunsets.  And true, looking through my archives I did find  quite a few photos of beautiful skies taken in September

August 2009
and August.

May 2012

But I also discovered many taken in the spring  and

 January 2009

even winter.  I think it's safe to say we have many beautiful sunsets and night ahead.

  2. A beautiful variety of sunsets! And yes, they're part of the "night," but if you want to say they're part of midday, that's OK with me. Just keep shooting!

  3. Gorgeous sunsets! Wow. The one in May is spectacular! We've had either too many clouds or no clouds at sunset the past week so no pretty ones to capture. There will be more though. :)
