House reflected in window across the street
A few old streets in Owen Sound are lined with handsome, well-kept old homes. Sadly, at least to me, many are now businesses, but maybe that ensures they will continue to be well maintained.

Beautiful reflection and beautiful window.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
A great reflection of a lovely old home.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Owen Sound but I must. Great shots. B
ReplyDeleteReflections in windows are so interesting and the windows themselves are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDarla
I see you also like to take reflection shots in windows. Also like to get ones that show the inside with a reflection. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Jen
ReplyDeletei am glad you showed the longer view, i think i like it best. that is one clear reflection, those windows must be really clean.
ReplyDeletereally sharp!
ReplyDeleteGreat window! I love these old houses. We have the same "problem" in the historic district...beautiful old homes have been converted to lawyer's offices, architectural offices, doctor's offices, etc.
ReplyDeleteI wish my windows were that clean! Great shots and a perfect reflection.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I'm with you, if houses had feelings they might be lonely and miss the laughter of children and the aroma of meals being prepared. But at least they will continue to be useful.
ReplyDeletelovely reflections and better being a business than derelict...
ReplyDeleteThat was a very special window, and the red from the reflected house fitted the photo very well
ReplyDeleteAt least the buildings are being saved! ;-)
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflections as always! We're seeing the same thing happen here in the states and it is sad, but at least some of those lovely old houses are being saved and that's a good thing! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletetres jolie composition reflexion couleur et formes ;o)
ReplyDeletePerfect reflection, just like a mirror!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful window and it reflected the older house wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections! I love Owen Sound, and dream about living there.
ReplyDeleteLove it!the reflection of the house is so beautifully framed!
ReplyDeleteThe house in the reflection looks a little bit like I image the house in the Hans and Gretel fairy tale... Not as yummy, I guess, but the architecture is very close...
ReplyDeleteGreat catch on that reflection !
That is a great reflection!
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like the house is inside the big building--and that is a very pretty window
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully framed reflection!
ReplyDeletethat round window is a beauty with all that leaded glass!!
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection and, yes, the buildings at least look rather well cared-for!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I prefer the close-up. Sometimes having the buildings occupied by businesses is the best way to preserve the buildings. I have seen residences converted to businesses and later back to residences.
ReplyDeleteAnother nice reflection.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun reflection!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting My Photographic Journey at TheChieftess.blogspot.com!!!
