Angry grackle
A is for ANGRY and/or ANNOYED birds.
Truth be told, I don't often see many angry birds. Annoyed, yes, but not angry. The grackle above clearly has ruffled feathers, though. It's at a seed feeder and, since I cannot remember, I'm guessing it's trying to scare off a squirrel or chipmunk.
Scared (and angry) Canada goose
I didn't see what happened but it's very odd to see a goose standing on a railing hissing at people who are feeding them .
Head down and hissing
Not angry but looking annoyed
There was no way this guy wanted to eat seed when so many people were looking at him. But he was hungry and willing to wait in the shrubbery. He seemed to be thinking "When are you going away?"

One does not want to be near those angry geese. Beautiful Cardinal shot. I don't think I have ever seem the first bird.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. All I could think of was the header, "Angry Birds". :-)
ReplyDeleteThe goose looks pretty upset and fierce.

the cardinal made me laugh, he does indeed look a tad annoyed at the camera.. having been on the hissed at side from geese, i can skip right by them.. they can and do get really angry...
ReplyDeleteIt seems like grackles are always angry about something. They don't scare me but if I saw a goose looking like that, I would be slowly backing away.
ReplyDeleteI never see cardinals around here, so that picture is a real treat.
Ha, cute! Cardinals always look grumpy!
ReplyDeleteLove all the expressions! Your last shot of the cardinal is great.
ReplyDeleteOh my, such emotional birds.
ReplyDeleteHaha, love all your angry birds. The shot of the goose with the tongue is awesome!
ReplyDeleteA great angry bird collection.
ReplyDeleteGeese have short tempers!
ReplyDeleteGood, good photos! You show there feelings very well.

ReplyDeleteThese are really fun captures. I've never seen a goose off the ground like that! And the grackle looks really angry at something. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on the first one - so striking!
ReplyDeleteGreat captures, EG. Not sure which I like best, but probably that handsome cardinal.
ReplyDeleteOh my- a bad day for all three! I've seen angry geese before, but the grackle- that is just an awesome shot!
ReplyDeleteIncredible photos!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great shots! Oh, how well I remember being chased by some angry geese when I was a girl!
ReplyDeleteYour comment feed was almost as interesting as your post! I don't think I can top any of those comments!
ReplyDeleteTerrific shots! They do look either fierce or displeased!
ReplyDeleteMust have just been that kind of day.
ReplyDeleteEven the cardinal seems to have something to say.
ReplyDeleteThe cardinal is beautiful even if he looks a bit grim. The others are hilarious in their anger.
ReplyDeletewow! you certainly captured these birds well ~ gorgeous photography ~ thanks, carol, xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a theme! Those birds do look ticked off.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bird Photos, and a great theme for the Letter A. I'm always amazed at how Cardinals will wait and wait...good for a photo shoot. The cackle on the other hand is a pest and often an 'Angry Bird'.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Alphabe~Thursday!
