Park Bridge

Bridge over river in Newmarket park

By noon yesterday, the sun had broken through the clouds making it a nice day to go for a walk. As you can see, we still have some snow but soon it will be gone. There's still ice on much of the river, but here mallards and geese were swimming freely.

I am linking to Good Fences HERE.

  11. The bridge is like those here and one in the park in the adjacent town. I have crossed them several times. I am guessing they are an item one orders from a catalog of bridges since they all seem to be the same.

  17. Oh I forgot to mention:
The Amtrak goes through Stanwood morning and night and the freight goes through several times---up to Canada I think. the passenger train goes to Seattle (south) and to Vancouver, B.C. north

Stanwood hasn't had a train station since 1974 so it was nice to have a new one in 2009---I don't know how much it is used but nice to know it is there.
