Another scene I pass by daily on my way to Southlake Hospital (Newmarket) to visit my husband. Usually there's too much traffic, but last Saturday I was able to stop to capture this.
Lovely scene. I like the rail fence and the ornate gate with the carriage lights. It's sort of like the difference between denim and silk, not sure the two go together. But if the owner likes it, that's all that matters.
And the gate is so defensive with the spears and all, while the wooden fence could by climbed easily by a six year old. Must have been a good gate salesman at the Home Depot.
Nice gate, now show us the house!! I've been away from blogging for a while (pure laziness I think, but now have got my enthusiasm back. Best wishes to your husband. South Lake is a great hospital, was there for a couple of things last year.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

ReplyDeleteVery nice - it is grand!
ReplyDeleteAll you need are a few palm trees and this could be our neighorhood in Ocala. :) Lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of all that green.
ReplyDeleteAnd the gate is so defensive with the spears and all, while the wooden fence could by climbed easily by a six year old. Must have been a good gate salesman at the Home Depot.
