Ordinary Fence, Fancy Gate

Another scene I pass by daily on my way to Southlake Hospital (Newmarket) to visit my husband. Usually there's too much traffic, but last Saturday I  was able to stop to capture this.

I am linking to Good Fences HERE.

  4. Very peaceful scene.

  5. Lovely scene. I like the rail fence and the ornate gate with the carriage lights. It's sort of like the difference between denim and silk, not sure the two go together. But if the owner likes it, that's all that matters.

  10. May be a compromise between husband and wife...fancy gate... durable fence and it's a great photo.

  22. All you need are a few palm trees and this could be our neighorhood in Ocala. :) Lovely scene.

  23. I'm jealous of all that green.

  24. And the gate is so defensive with the spears and all, while the wooden fence could by climbed easily by a six year old. Must have been a good gate salesman at the Home Depot.
