Hang gliding in Pickering - last year
F is for FLYING
No, not me! But I do enjoy watching other people do it. I have a fear of heights.
I haven't been posting to Alphabe-Thursday because my husband has been in the hospital and finding photos for this meme was way too challenging. But now that he's out, I'm b-a-c-k!
Coming in for a landing
I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE

ReplyDeleteFantastic images.
ReplyDeleteMaybe at one time in my life I may have been game but not now.
ReplyDeletei'd like to do that! especially a tandem flight where i could trust someone else to know what they were doing. :)

ReplyDeleteGliding is something that I would adore! Cool shots!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures - but it's the Fs in the fear of falling that keep me from having a go at something like this!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

Piggybacking seems the safe way to try it—I would love to, someday!
ReplyDeleteIt does look interesting, but I wouldn't do it either! lol

ReplyDeleteI just can't say anything other than fabulous! Just trying to keep with the theme.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, how is your husband doing? Sorry to hear he was in hospital.
ReplyDeleteSecond of all, as usual, your photos are stunning. You have such a special gift.
I love that you can see her smiling face in the last shot.
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea, but I do like watching them. Glad your husband is out and sorry that he was in...
ReplyDeleteI just love these. That first one looked like a big old dragonfly.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't want my kids and/or husband doing it, though. Once I went parasailing and that is the extent of my bravery.
;)
Hope yr husband is 100%, and you can go flying with him.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back! Fantastic shot♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/forensic-focus/
ReplyDeleteFor a split second,I was like "wow the girl"! I thought it was you. I have fear of height either. It does look like a lot fun but, I don't see myself into that thing. lol Fantastic shot!

ReplyDeleteYikes! I have enough trouble flying in an airplane. I couldn't imagine soaring on a glider, ha!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your hubby is home! Glad you're back with Alphabe-Thursday. I don't think I'd be able to do that hang gliding thing either, but I will be flying in four days.
ReplyDeleteFloating and gliding...letting all the problems of the world drift away.
ReplyDeleteOr so they seem to me.
Perhaps they are just fraught with more problems...such as wind speed and then have even more to worry about.
So glad to hear your husband is out of the hospital.
How frightening that must have been for you all.
Thanks for linking.
And hugs and healing to your husband.
