Who knew taking photos of old tires could be so much fun? Well, it never ceases to amaze me how shiny some old vehicles are kept! Gotta love the reflection, don't you agree? And speaking of old tires being reflected...

Ah now of course I want to go boating! The old-timer tyre is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSo that's where all my old tires went.
ReplyDeleteGREAT Reflections!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea; perfect ways to use old tires rather than dumping them in a landfill. I wouldn't mind owning either the boat or the car.
ReplyDeleteThe ones on the boat dock don't looks so good as the one on the car
ReplyDeleteA great way to reuse the tyres, love the reflections... and I covet that car!
ReplyDeleteQuite a contrast in tires! Excellent reflections, too.
ReplyDeleteI never would have imagined enjoying tire reflections . . but, you are right - this is nifty.
ReplyDeleteGleaming Old cars are really a passion around here. There is a huge and still expanding collectors club that meets regularly. Their cars fill a huge parking lot, and people walk around and admire for hours.
It's clear they enjoy every bit of it.
Our fun comes in strange places sometimes.
ReplyDeleteNice pic of the tires.
ReplyDeleteTires amaze me. I found some old tires out in the middle of nowhere the other day. Not a road of any kind within miles but there they were.
nice catches!
ReplyDeleteThere you go. Start a new meme: Old Tire Friday.
ReplyDeleteGreat old car that tire is attached to. Nice reflections!
ReplyDeleteI did! I did! We have a few of those old tires to kick around here too, and it's kind of wheeling and tireless fun!
ReplyDeleteboth photos are perfect reflections. i am old and tired, LOL
ReplyDeleteThat old tire is like a piece of art!
ReplyDeleteNeat reflections, especially the first one. I'm glad you explained what the tires tied to the docks were for. I need to show that to my uncle to protect his boat.
ReplyDeleteThat car looks mirror like!
ReplyDeleteI love your reflections today! They are both beautiful and unusual. I like the yellow wire on that old car and well as the reflection. What a great way to keep the boats from getting scraped up!!
ReplyDeleteThey are a blight on the landscape so it is good to see them put to use. Love your car reflection, EG!
ReplyDeleteThe reflection on the water is so cool!
ReplyDeleteI really like the reflections in your first photo.
ReplyDeleteOkay, this can be another meme.
ReplyDeleteStunning old car. The reflections give its beauty depth. And love the watery reflections.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteThose tires on the boat would work I guess. We have white rubber buoys that clip to the railings when we're on the water and then I get to throw them over when we dock (making sure they're still clipped to the railing...not that I would ever forget to check that. Oh no, not me ;>) (did not make the 'Captain' too happy~)
ReplyDeleteThe old car tires are beautiful. They knew how to do it back then huh?
tres joli coups d oeil ;o)
ReplyDeleteI just love the wheel reflection in its own car and boat reflections are always good.
ReplyDeleteAt least the ones on those docks have found a new and useful life. And it is a great idea for them.
ReplyDeleteLove that old car and its tire. Both are great reflection shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection....Stunning old car...
ReplyDeleteI do love that amazing old car. Great reflections in both shots.
