Chippy

Chipmunk in planter

This little guy has a super vantage point and loves to sit in this plater outside my kitchen door.

I just love these little guys. They can be so entertaining as well as industrious.

Spying something that looks yummy

  3. I like chipmunks. There are two living close to my house and I leave peanuts for them. They are very fast gathers and out fox the squirrels every time.

  12. Great pics, EG! I have never seen a chipmunk in Florida. Doesn't mean we don't have 'em. Used to see a lot of them in Minnesota, though. Must be too hot down here.

  13. haha! Cute little guy! That's one thing we don't have around our place. The squirrels take up the slack, though.

  24. Awww. I just love Chipmunks. I had a pet one once. We rescued an injured one and fixed him up and he stayed around and was quite friendly. We called him Mr. Chips--of course.

  30. WHAT a gorgeous creature, CameraGirl! I think the creature closest to a chipmunk here must be our Red Squirrel.

  33. I'm wondering what kinds of pesky things they can do in a vegetable garden. Squirrels don't seem to bother my vegetables but eat the nuts while they are still green and then go after my apples.
