1. Two: One mallard plus one reflection equals two mallards, right?
This week I'm combining Critters with a Scavenger Hunt because it works...sort of.
2. Animal: painted turtle
These guys are interesting even when they are doing nothing more than sitting on a log!
3. Handwriting: My handwriting
I couldn't get any critters to write anything for me this week! Sheesh!!
4. Frozen
Not exactly "frozen" but it sure didn't appear to move a muscle while I was taking its photo.
5. Nap time
I don't think the mallard knew I was there...or even cared. Zzzzzz.

1+1 is never more than 2, for this time.

So sweet, so lovely... and lots of reflections?!... Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour water reflections are great, especially the first photo.
ReplyDeleteLovely selection of critters however your reflection of them are fantastic in this post.
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection of critters. The mallard, turtles and the GB heron are all beautiful. Love the Mallard reflection shot. Thank you for sharing your post with my critter party.. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHeron's really do have the most remarkable ability to be still.
ReplyDeleteWonderful series of photos, all so beautiful and you also have pretty handwriting :). Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe mallard's more interested in nap time!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the photos are popping out of my screen the colours are so vivid and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gorgeous handwriting!
Your handwriting is pretty good. Mine was never of this quality and has really deteriorated in the computer era.
ReplyDeletethese fit both meme's perfectly. they are all beautiful.. your handwriting makes me green with envy... i don't dare put mine up on my blog... everyone might think i should be a doctor.. LOL
ReplyDeletethese are great! and you have beautiful handwriting. mine LOOKS like an animal wrote it. :)
ReplyDeleteTurtles are always great. Your handwriting made me think about the fact that cursive writing is no longer taught in some school districts. Not only that, but I've read of instances where some young people working at stores were unable to read cursive when handed a note written in long hand. I never thought such a day would be.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely creatures and wonderful photos !
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)
Lovely shots! Your handwriting is beautiful. I wish mine was half as beautiful as yours. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics for the scavenger hunt! I love the last one.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflexions!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one, because of the amazing texture.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to get your critters to write something try photographing a secretary bird.

ReplyDeleteFrozen is AWESOME...:)JP
ReplyDeleteMy favorite in this group is the mallard and her reflection.
ReplyDeleteI love the mallard pose! And is that a blue heron? Love the reflection. I love the first mallard's reflection, and the painted turtle's head. Lennon was SO witty!
ReplyDeleteWonderful series ... you should have posted on Weekend Reflection ... 'cause you had plenty of them. And, I think you squeeked by with the "two Mallards" ... but, hey, it's all about having a good time, right?
