Neat shot of the bikes against the fence. Around here though they would need to be locked as people would tend to steal them. Learning to keep a kayak upright is an important thing to learn.
This reminds me of summers from my childhood. We rode our bikes everywhere and my parents had a summer house where we paddled in an old wooden kayak and we also had a small sailboat. My daughter never enjoyed sailing as much as I did although she liked swimming in the ocean and riding her bike everywhere.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
A really lovely moment you captured there!

ReplyDeleteSo glad kids can ride their bikes to lessons and not always be driven. I bet they enjoyed the ride as much as the lesson.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a Norman Rockwell painting! Love it.
ReplyDeleteStaying upright would be my problem. I would be trying to paddle upside down. Love the fence with the colorful bikes.
ReplyDeleteSomething about the light looks like the end of summer too.

this is how summer should be spent in childhood, not cooped up inside the house killing cyborgs on video games.

ReplyDeleteBikes and summer, a perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I don't see many kids out riding bikes anymore. I used to live on mine when I was a kid.
